Come, deepen your connection to the sacred roots of Hawaiian culture, and embrace ancient traditional spiritual teaching of Aloha at the Spirit of Aloha Nature Reserve in Haiku, an enchanting environment to be awed by the beauty of Maui. Enjoy a brunch or sunset table with a small group of like-minded people. Revive by a garden-to-table menu prepared by Maku Roots.
Your guide, a nature guardian from our Ohana of Spirit of Aloha Nature Guardians, will greet you by the gate. Nature Guardians see all spiritual traditions as embodying universal wisdom. She will brief you during your visit through the gardens, the pillars of Aloha as articulated and taught by revered Hawaiian Kumu Puanani Mahoi.
You will experience how Hawaiian culture is one with Maui nature. Walk among Jurassic ferns, ancient mango trees, giant rabbits, and majestic peacocks. The animals at the sanctuary are trusting of people. They are individuals with names, and they are social. Be open to them interacting directly with you.

The Wildlife Excursion is offered in collaboration with Wildlife Hawaii. It is a one-of-a-kind experience of the interaction between culture and the tropic environment.
Your guide Magdalena is the senior naturalist for Wild Life Hawaii. A cultural ambassador originally from Tahiti, she is devoted to conveying her vast knowledge about wildlife and its culture. Click instant access to connect her!
